“This article paper is about the conflict happening in the environmental practices and beliefs between humans and the animal, which the author can say it as one of the examples of racist attitudes that can’t be denied in existence. A broken home who's looking for someone that will take care and building love towards environmental conflict, however, creating a sustainable environment to live with principles for the good of individuals and the country, which is an essential part to improve in sustaining a sustainable environment we dream in the future.”
An Overview
It was a couple of weeks when was the news spread on the internet about those hotels in BGC (Bonifacio Global City) in Taguig hired an exterminator to get rid of stray cats have been trespassing on their property. However, that news is a good example that can be shared with a conflict between human society and nature when they will interact with each other. Hence, that matters on the factors and arguments you considered in developing the relevance that’s happening within the environment in such a way an interesting point to discuss. Since the author has no personal opinion on it, however, it matters about environmental racist for a broken home looking for someone that will take care at least, somehow.
The Viewport on the Matter
In the issue of the stray cats along the BGC (Bonifacio Global City) Park within the residential areas located between Ilaya Street and Anastacio Street of Taguig City, which is one of the places that you can stay longer for relaxation. Of course, the author may say that with those cat's proliferation in the street seems you are in the zoo area. You can touch and play with them as they walk freely in every corner of BGC. And whenever you pass by on the roads it will relieve all your stresses and fatigues as they are harmless. The truth is, I love cats since childhood in taking care of their rights too.
However, I can’t blame others who do not like the cat and that are their own will in democratic principles like in the Philippines. I can categorize and describe them whereas people from the different provinces have gone to Manila in looking for a job, and then after some time, they become one of those living in the squatters or living in the street ally because of bad luck. Sometimes they become one of those prostitutes you can count on the street at night especially in the Quezon Avenue or at Pasay City, but who knows, life is not easy and you need to pay in every step you take as becoming a paradigm for individual success. However, while they are on the mood, pretentions and hypocrisy can't be denied.
Factors and Arguments Relevant to Law
The people have raised the factors and arguments alongside the skyscraper's buildings vicinity where they are surprised and wondered that they hadn’t seen anyone of those cats out of their premises. Whereas always been there for entirely somehow, which sparked outrage throughout the social media by those cat lovers and the agency like Compassion and Responsibility for Animals (Cara) Welfare Philippines. But, I appreciated the CARA somehow for their initiatives and motivation in this regard in taking care of the stray cats with all the provisions stated in the Philippine law, accordingly; the Republic Act 10631, and the amended Animal Welfare Act.
And thus, applying all the amended law against the Pestbusters who had violated the act. However, the questions there, the park landscape was not designed as a zoo facility such as collecting and taking care of stray cats from elsewhere. But these are the responsibilities of the cat owners that needs and attention, and back then though, the Bonifacio Global City area was designed for those businesses and commercial establishments that need to understand. Therefore, the stray cat (Figure 01) owners are responsible.
I remember one of my neighboring household families in my childhood years, whereas they have cats in their houses, and they are already exhausted because of populated cats around them. What happened is, they were stressful about the foods they have to eat and for the cats as well, their budget got increased drastically, and the worst thing has happened that those cats had spoiled their shit inside the house area, and that’s true. Thereby, what they did to those cats, they threw away from their house so that it won’t be multiplied more. Considering the scenario, therefore, the stray cats in the BGC Park, it looks like their Masters were throwing them, and now, the stray cats are living there and multiply, which are now becoming one of the pests in the areas.
However, the said stray cats in my perception are harmless, and the question behind there is that, why these Pestbusters have relocated the stray cats away from the hotel premises whereas those won’t affect their business at all, and even to the landscape won't even harm the passersby. But let us clarify that the Pestbusters is a pest management services company to the Shangri-La Fort who are working them regularly, and back then, the situation whereas the management had asked them to relocate the stray cats in wherever spotted in the hotel's basement within the premises.
And this is the reason why CARA raised the issue. However, there’s something wrong there. If CARA is bothering of that situation, I think that much better if they collate all the stray cats as shown in the figure from anywhere in the streets and provide shelter for them, so that law, Republic Act 10631 Animal Welfare Act won’t be annoying. Back by then, at least they prevent such incidents in securing stray cats to a guaranteed shelter under their management, so, what do you think? Are you in favor? If so, then be it. Moreover, following the rule of law can stand your point.
Related Issues Undeniable
Similarly, we know that in the Philippines, the dogs can be found everywhere and roamed throughout the streets which they can move around freely. On the other hand, when I came here to Doha in 2004, all stray cats were populated everywhere whereas the government that time keeps ignoring wherever scattered around the places. However, any residence owner alongside can’t be able to touch or even bring any stray cats in their house as they will be fined and prisoned according to the Qatar Law.
These are good to look at, and for example as well in interacting with the friendly stray cats that will surely relieve your stresses at all. But when 2006 came whereas the construction was in full blast because of ASIAN GAMES scheduled in the country, and many workers were coming-in including the Vietnamese in the state. Why I am saying this because that was a tragic situation that made me surprised and wondered with the populous stray cats in the streets had gone drastically. Little by little and day by day until one day as I walked-out early in the morning for jogging, I saw many of the Vietnamese walkings around the highway with their stick trap catching all stray cats and they keep them inside their bag. Then after some time, I learned from our construction workers living in the industrial construction quarter house that those Vietnamese butchered stray cats for their foods.
And this kind of act was too brutal and violently killed the stray cats tremendously unknowingly by the government on what they have done on those stray cats. In spite that those stray cats are harmless in the first place, still, they continued slaughtered until the government noticed and they had been deported back to Vietnam. So, what can you say? And this is more than worse than what happened to the stray cats at the BGC Park Philippines which had been relocated only, whereas the Shangri-La Fort management concerned was to prevent cleanliness in their landscape.
Conclusion
The case had been settled, and they were both compromised that they will never do the same soon and will serve the confrontation as the lesson learned according to the Pestbusters. I don’t have any objection in cursing both as they have their ways to follow, but even though they are only stray cats, we need to share our love with them as they are one of those lost already and the homeless. If they have the master and are taking care of, we can’t find any stray cats in the streets. After all, those stray cats are seeking LOVE similar to the broken family home whereas having been lost away from their loved ones but somehow, still hoping for a sustainable environment to live with principles for the good of yourself and the country.
